After burning for almost four hours, a fire destoryed two apartment buildings in our neighborhood today. It was just three blocks away from our house and rated a 5-alarm fire. For a moment there, SFist was reporting that it had reached an unprecedented 6 alarms. Fortunately no one was killed.
